Song quote of the week

Okay, so i've taken a few weeks, but that's because i had my wisdome teeth out over two weeks ago, and then Christmas, and it's just been busy around here. but here's my first one:

"This will be my resolution: every day is New Year's Day. This could start a revolution; every day is New Year's Day"

- "New Year's Day" by Michelle Tumes

so, i will try very hard to keep up with this every week. i figure that once i start getting into the habit of posting every week, than i'll be okay with remembering.

and if anyone actually reads this, please let me know. sometimes i feel like i'm posting for no reason at all.

Musically Minded

Hey, it's been awhile! i guess i got really caught up with life, which doesn't exactly give me loads of time to post here. but i think getting caught up life is good. So, musically minded. i am very musically minded. i can usually come up with a song that describes how i feel, at any given time. i always have a song stuck in my head. in fact, i have a radio show during the summer, which is nice, because i can control what music i play. once school started, i didn't have that show anymore(i put it to rest till next summer) but i noticed that a radio station popped up in my head. every time it was between classes i seemed to have a song blasting through my head. even during classes sometimes i have songs blasting in my head. i love it, an don't want it to stop.

but there's another thing with being musically minded, whenever i'm in sunday school, the lessons always remind me of a song. or sometimes two, such as was the case last week. but i decided that i'm going to start "Abby's song quote of the week". and i was just going to do it with my sunday school class, but i think i'm going to let my reading audiance(or lack of one. does anyone read this blog? i wouldn't blame you if you didn't feel like reading this) in on this. so i'm going to post my first one on either this sunday, or the sunday after. we'll see what happens. so, i hope you enjoy my musical mind. if you don't, that's okay, because we're all made different, and not all of us were made to like music. i think.

So exciting!!!

i'm very, very excited about saturday. there is a Jars of Clay concert in my area, and i have a ticket to go there! i absolutely love Jars of Clay. in fact, i got a free DVD of their 11th Hour Tour when i went to Essential records one summer. so i've been watching it on various friday nights when i have nothing else better to do. i really love that DVD. for those who might not know, Jars of Clay is a christian band with various popular songs, including their smash hit, "Flood". i am so thankful that i am getting to go to this concert. well, that's it for now!

Hello!

hi, my name is Abby. i just thought it'd be neat to set up a blog, i guess. um, i guess i'll tell a little about myself. i really like music, especially Christian music. i play piano and guitar. i'm also into radio. i have a radio show during the summer, and i really want to go into a career in radio once i'm done with high school and college. so, that's about it for now. i'm really new at this blogging thing, but i'm sure i'll get used to it.
